Perm Wins All-Russian Tourist Cities Award

From April 24 to 26, the Forum of Tourist Regions and Cities was held in Voronezh. The Forum included the final of the II All-Russian Award "Tourist Cities", which is aimed at developing and promoting domestic tourism and the hospitality industry in the territory of municipalities of the country.
The finalists of the award were 67 cities from 43 subjects of the country, including the city of Perm.
According to the results of the competition, the Perm administration took 1st place in the nominations "City of Gastronomic Tourism", "City of MICE Tourism", "City of Youth Tourism", "City of Creative Tourism", Perm took 2nd place in the nomination "City of Tourist Souvenirs".
Deputy Head of the Department - Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Industry of the Department of Economics and Industrial Policy of the Perm Administration Andrey Boronnikov noted that Perm is actively developing in the direction of creative tourism. Thus, many cultural events are held in Perm every year - the Diaghilev Festival, the New Pier music festival, the Weather Vane street theater festival, and others.
In the "City of Youth Tourism" nomination, it was noted that Perm was declared the youth capital of Russia in 2025. In addition, a regional youth center has been created in Perm. It is the main broadcaster of federal projects, the organizer of the largest regional events, and acts as a methodologist for the interaction of all youth organizations in the region.
In the "City of Gastronomic Tourism" nomination, the entire diversity of the city's gastronomy and development in this direction were presented. Since 2020, Perm has been hosting the All-Russian Olympiad in Culinary and Service "Legend". According to the results of 2024, 10 Perm restaurants got into the top of the "Wheretoeat" award.
“This recognition is the result of systematic work to develop the tourism sector, the hospitality of industry professionals and the city residents themselves,” Eduard Sosnin emphasized in the Telegram channel.
